Lough Callee is situated in 'Hag's Glen' at the base of Carrantuohill, the highest mountain in Ireland. To the right of the picture is one of the routes up the mountain, 'The Devils Ladder', A steep and difficult climb. This lake is one of two in the glen, the other being Lough Gouragh.
